So, why play the doumbek?
Amongst the many reasons you may want to play:
If you feel at home expressing rhythm through your hands
If you enjoy drumming for dancers
If you are a dancer, seeking to learn from 'other' side
For relaxation, exercise and enjoyment
It's not as hard as you think, so why not!
I enjoy all drumming, having played the drumkit for almost 20 years.
Currently, I am focusing completely on the doumbek - studying, performing & teaching.
